So many cities have High-Rise structures and the tactics used by various departments varies as much as the cities themselves. The group is designed to allow Metro-City and Big-City firefighters discuss this challenging aspect of our jobs.
For those members preparing for a promotional exam or who just want to challenge their decision-making skills. Scenarios will be posted. Answers will be provided a few days later. Discussion or arguements can follow.
In this group, we'll discuss all things building construction. What are the lessons of recent fires? What have past fires taught us?. What are the developing trends in construction that will impact our ability to fight future fires?
This group will focus on aggressive interior firefighting. We will address tactics that increase your chance of not getting jammed up and cover what actions to undertake if you do.We will cover some big issues as well as small tactical tips.
