Bio:
Tom Platt is a fire protection engineer for a consulting firm serving the northeast region of the United States. Tom focuses on high hazard fire protection, fire protection systems design, fire modeling and fire department interface with fixed fire protection systems. Tom currently serves as 2nd Lieutenant with the Island Heights Fire Company in Ocean County, New Jersey.

Tom is a recent graduate of the Fire Protection Engineering program at the University of Maryland, as well as a former live-in Sergeant in the College Park Volunteer Fire Department in Prince George's County. Tom remains an active firefighter and driver for the CPVFD.
