I have found when im in a pinch trying to come up with some drill ideas I check out the drill section at firefighterclosecalls.com this has been a big help.

Contacting your local fire dept will be your best bet. I did go and put myself through a fire science degree. However when you get on the job chances are they will put you through the academy anyways so you will be tacking most of the same classes...

Funeral for fallen Buffalo firefighters info
For those of you in my neck of the woods I wanted to pass this info to you.
The Funeral for Lt. McCarthy will be this Friday at 9:30 am, Funeral for Firefighter Croom will be at 1:00 . Both will take place at St Josephs old cathedral on 50 Franklin st. Buffalo. Collation to follow at the HSBC arena. Please pray for our fallen brothers and their families.
Stay strong and safe my brothers and sisters
